Alexis Rogers is an Award-Winning journalist currently serving as an Anchor at WISH-TV in Indiana. She has been working at the station since joining in September 2020.
Before joining WISH-TV, she worked for 4 years 1 month in Cincinnati, Ohio, as a reporter and anchor at Hearst Television. When she is free, she loves volunteering in non-profit organizations that major in helping the needy and less fortunate in the community.
Moreover, she is also the founder of “Lisa’s Girls”, which is a mentoring program for young women. She also is a member of the National Association of Black Journalists.
She studied at Neuqua Valley High School and soon after graduating, she decided to pursue journalism, hence she enrolled at the University of Missouri based in Columbia. At the university, she graduated and was awarded her Bachelors of Arts in Radio-Television Journalism.

Alexis’ broadcasting career started in Columbia in August 2010, when she took her first job at Time Warner Inc., where she worked as an official Statistics Assistant. There she worked for 1 year 7 months and later relocated to Chicago.
In Chicago, she was hired at Clear Channel Media and Entertainment, where she worked as a 107.5 WGCI FM Programming intern for 4 months. In August 2012, she returned to Columbia and was hired as a reporter at KBIA Public Radio. She worked at the radio station for 5 months before accepting a job invitation at KCOU-FM 88.1.
Alexis was hired as a host and producer where she hosted a segment named “The Last Word”. In May 2012, she was made president of NABJ-MU of the National Association of Black Journalists she held the position for 2 years.
She was later offered a job at KOMU-TV, where she was first hired as a production assistant, she worked at the station for six months before she was later promoted to producer. 4 months later, she was reassigned to the station’s news anchor and later to a reporter.
In January 2014, she was hired as an anchor and reporter at Newsy, where she worked for six months and later left and relocated to Arkansas. There he was hired as a general assignment reporter and fill-in anchor at KATV for 2 year before accepting a job invitation from Ohio.
