Bill Spadea Biography
Bill Spadea is an American businessman and television host from New Jersey. He was the Republican nominee for U.S Congress in New Jersey’s 12th congressional district in 2004. He was Chairman of the College Republican National Committee (1993–95) and currently hosts Chasing New Jersey. Bill has been the morning drive, time host, on New Jersey 101.5 (WKXW), replacing long time morning personality Jim Gearhart.

Before getting into media, he served as an executive in the real estate industry for 18 years, coaching, recruiting, and selling. He is still a licensed broker in several states, including New Jersey, Washington, and Massachusetts. As a candidate, he took on a three-term Democratic House incumbent in New Jersey’s 12th Congressional District. Highlights of the campaign included a 200-mile walk through all 44 towns in the district, knocking on 16,000-plus doors and beating expectations as the top Republican challenger in New Jersey in 2004.
Their campaign ranked 17th out of 157 GOP challengers nationwide by earning 40 percent of the vote with more than 115,000 votes. Following the race, Bill spent time as a surrogate speaker in New Jersey for Republican candidates for governor and U.S. Senate, and for Mayor Rudy Giuliani’s presidential campaign in 2008.
