He was a member of the ball club at WCSU and had a very long history of attending the focus field events there.
After graduating high school, Dan went straight to work at WGGB ABC40/FOX6 in Springfield, Massachusetts, where he was eventually promoted to the position of end-of-the-week climate anchor.
Dan holds the most prestigious certification that can be earned from the American Meteorology Society, which is the Certified Broadcast Meteorologist designation. He finds that reviewing the readings from his previous climate class to be quite enjoyable.
