Dennis House is a broadcast journalist. He currently serves at WTNH as Chief Political Anchor. He joined the Channel 8 news station in December 2020. Prior to joining WTNH in New Haven, he worked at WFSB TV, a CBS-affiliated television station in Hartford, Connecticut, where he served as a News Anchor and Political Show Moderator.
House co-anchored Eyewitness News at 5 PM and 6 PM news. He also interviewed politicians and newsmakers on Face the State, the critically acclaimed Sunday morning political show.
Dennis got his start in television news at WPRI-TV in Providence, R.I. He then moved on to become the assignment manager at WMUR-TV in Manchester, N.H. From there, he went to WREX-TV in Rockford, Ill., where he worked as a weekend anchor. He was also a weekend sports anchor and news reporter at WWMT-TV in Grand Rapids, Mich.
