Jeff Zausch Biography
Jeff Zausch is a well-known American survivalist who is an expert in surviving in harsh situations of all kinds, including arctic, tropical, alpine, and desert settings. What motivates him is challenging himself to the point of exhaustion and succeeding in doing things that the vast majority of people believe are physically impossible. Jeff is a master of basic survival skills such as making a fire, building a shelter, and hunting, and he has demonstrated his prowess in these areas on the popular Discovery show Dual Survivor.

After undergoing his first open-heart surgery when he was five and a half weeks old, Jeff’s father, who is also a survivor, gave birth to Jeff in Pocatello, Idaho. Jeff’s father also survived the procedure. In his lifespan, he underwent nine open-heart surgeries, which provided Jeff with an instructive example of how to conquer, overcome, and live through adversity. Even though his father went away after a protracted battle, he left behind a legacy for his son to carry on, and he didn’t disappoint his departed father in the least.

After a number of years together as a couple, Jeff eventually tied the knot with his longtime girlfriend Gabrielle Zausch. The wedding took place on March 8th, 2013 for the pair. Many people speculated that nudity would have an effect on Jeff and Eva’s relationship when they both appeared in the film Naked and Afraid together. However, as time went on, the two became closer, and his wife even invited Eva to lunch with her.

XL Jeff starred on the television series Naked and Afraid alongside Eva Robert, and the two of them battled it out in Madagascar to see who would come out on top. It’s kill or be killed as survivalists Jeff and Eva go on a trip to Madagascar, where they face the unforgiving terrain of the Massif D’Isalo, complete with its vicious boa constrictors, plentiful black widow spiders, and harsh desert environment.
Jeff Zausch Naked and Afraid XL
On July 12, 2015, the first episode of the first season of the popular television series Naked and Afraid XL on Discovery channel aired, and it was his first time appearing in the wild. In Madagascar, he emerged alongside Eva Robert, and the two of them fought against one another for their own survival.
His prowess in the field of survival and the efforts he put forth were rewarded when he was cast in Dual Survivor’s ninth season, which premiered on August 24, 2016, alongside EJ Snyder. The show garnered poor reviews since it failed to live up to the great expectations that were placed on it by critics such as Cody Lundin, Matt Graham, Joseph Teti, and Dave Canterbury, to name just a few of the most prestigious organizations.
Starting 20 days early than the rest of the survivalists, Laura Zerra and Jeff will try a never-before-undertaken 60-day challenge in the jungles of the Philippines. This challenge has never been attempted before. On May 19, 2019, the first episode of their journey will air as part of the original series Naked and Afraid: Savage on Discovery GO.

Jeff Zausch Extreme Survivalist
Jeff is an extreme survivalist who is skilled at using the environment to his advantage for the sake of his own survival. Primitive techniques such as making a fire, building a shelter, finding a source of water, and hunting are all skills that Jeff has extensive training in.
As a young lad growing up in the mountains of Idaho, he gained a deep appreciation for nature as well as a healthy respect for it. Jeff logged countless hours in the wilderness, where he gained an appreciation for the natural world while also carrying on the hunting legacy of his family. In his youth, he honed his skills as a tracker, hunter, and trapper, and by the time he was in his early twenties, he had already climbed many of the highest peaks in the Pacific Northwest of the United States.
Jeff continues to expand his understanding of wilderness survival by becoming an expert in every habitat he explores, whether it is by hunting or climbing mountains. Jeff is best known for appearing on the Discovery Channel shows Naked and Afraid and Naked And Afraid XL. He has yet to find a terrain that he could not overcome with his primitive survival skills, but he plans to keep searching and pushing the limits of what others say is “impossible.” Jeff is best known for his appearances on these shows.
