Kaylee Heck is an American Journalist. She joined the CBS4 team as the Weekend Sports Anchor and Sports Reporter from December 2019 up to May 2020. Previously she was a Multimedia Journalist with CBS4 for a year and a half before moving into the sports department.

Kaylee’s internship with ABC News consisted of her reporting on and writing anything from two to four stories per day, all of which were posted on ABCNews.com. She reported on breaking news as well as feature pieces, such as the explosions that took place in Tianjin in 2015 and the death of an Omaha police officer one day before she was scheduled to go on maternity leave. She received training for a variety of tasks, including red hat, runner, stage manager, spotter, statistics, utility, and transmission operator (M/IO help), among others. In addition to this, she collaborated with the rest of the production team to ensure that the tennis and volleyball matches had accurate score reporting.
During her time as an intern at Trojan Vision Television, she worked her way up to the position of Associate Producer. She oversaw a group of ten people working as Associate Producers. Developed program rundowns, coordinated guest appearances, and briefed the presenter of the show on interview preparation. During the broadcast, Kaylee was in charge of the control room, where she also incorporated video and other forms of multimedia into the show.
Kaylee followed and aided general assignment reporters out in the field when she was working at KMTV. During the coverage of the breaking news storm, she made suggestions for stories and worked at the assignment desk. In addition, Kaylee assisted in coverage of the NCAA College World Series, municipal council meetings, and a double tornado that occurred in Pilger, Nebraska.
