She once held the position of anchor for the news program KTXL FOX40. Gross spent his entire childhood in the Stockton area. She received her education at Lincoln High School. After that, she received her education at California State University in Northridge.

After working nonstop for a considerable amount of time and making announcements on a variety of networks, she is thrilled to be reporting in her home market! In November 2018, Kristi became a member of the FOX40 Newsgroup.
Kristi is looking forward to sharing a variety of tales that not only represent and spotlight all of the challenges that are now being faced by the Central Valley but also all of the positive work that is being done and the inspiring people who are doing it.
Kristi began her career in journalism at KXXV, Central Texas News, where she worked as a Reporter. During her time in Waco, she reported on the fatal explosion at the West manure plant and its subsequent recovery, the Waco motorcycle posse shootout, and a mass shooting at Fort Hood. She also covered the construction and opening of the new McLane Stadium at Baylor University.
In the end, Kristi worked her way up through the ranks to become the Weekend Anchor. After finishing her tenure at KXXV, Kristi moved even further away from her hometown and took a job with WINK News as the Charlotte County Bureau Multimedia Journalist/Reporter in Fort Myers, which is located in the southwest region of Florida.
Kristi covered a variety of stories during her time at WINK, including Hurricane Irma, the Red Tide disaster, and the planning and establishment of a Vietnam Memorial reproduction divider, and she even learned how to fly a plane for a story. Kristi worked at WINK for a total of three years.
In spite of the several interstate relocations that Kristi had undergone, the state of California had always been the destination of her choice. While Kristi isn’t at work, you can find her spending time with her family, and her friends, or working on getting another stamp to add to her identity.
Kristi is a well-traveled individual who has visited five out of the world’s seven landmasses. She has just recently returned from a trip to Africa on a safari. She has also visited 15 countries, and she recalls residing in Gold Coast, Australia, during her time spent concentrating on international studies at school.
