Jackson became a night and end-of-the-week columnist for the WBRC group in July 2020 after joining that organization. Even though Texas is her birthplace, she has a passion for moving to new and exciting areas, and her career has carried her all across the United States.

During her time as a student, Lauren served as the Sports Director, Reporter, and Anchor for UATV News. She devoted a significant amount of her time to conducting interviews with Razorback players, coaches, and sideline reporters.

The beginning of Lauren’s career as a reporter was spent at WQAD News 8 in Moline, Illinois. Throughout the two years that she spent reporting on Eastern Iowa and Western Illinois, Lauren filled in as a correspondent for the morning show, nightly show, end-of-the-week show, and weekday shows.

She also became an accomplished sight and sound columnist through her training and practice. By working as a detailer for WQAD News 8 in Moline, Lauren gained valuable experience and opened doors for herself, and she is grateful for both of these opportunities.
