Pandora Boxx is a drag queen, comedian, and reality television personality from Rochester, New York, who hails from the United States. Her participation in the second season of RuPaul’s Drag Race and the first season of RuPaul’s All-Star Drag Race brought her the most attention and made her one of the most well-known contestants ever.

Michael Steck was the one who gave birth to Pandora in Jamestown, New York. After some time, his family relocated to Olean, New York. Pandora adopted her drag name as a play on the terms of the Greek mythological artifact known as Pandora’s box for her debut performance at the gay club Infinity in Rochester.

Pandora Boxx RuPaul’s Drag Race
Pandora was selected to compete in the second season of RuPaul’s Drag Race after she successfully passed two auditions for the competition. Her rendition of “Snatch Game,” in which she impersonates Carol Channing, was one of the highlights of her appearance on Drag Race (a Match Game parody challenge).
RuPaul referred to her as “the Susan Lucci of this competition” despite the fact that she did really well in the show’s challenges but was unable to win any of them. In the eighth episode, titled “Golden Gals,” she was the contestant who was eliminated. After she was eliminated from the competition, Entertainment Weekly chose her as their candidate for “America’s Next Drag Superstar.” She ended up winning the title of Miss Congeniality for her season later on.
Following her elimination from the competition, Pandora made an appearance on all three seasons of the spin-off series RuPaul’s Drag U. Additionally, she portrayed a Bloody Mary in a television commercial for Absolut Vodka that ran during the third season of RuPaul’s Drag Race. The ad was for Absolut Vodka.
In 2011, she served as the host for an edition of One Night Stand Up on Logo, which was a comedy spectacular that was taped live at the Bowery Ballroom in New York City. Bianca Del Rio, Hedda Lettuce, and Kelly Mantle were among the other performers during the event. Later on in that same year, Pandora made an appearance alongside Mimi Imfurst in a photo spread published in Entertainment Weekly. The image featured Melissa McCarthy portraying Divine. On September 27, 2011, Pandora presented the world with her debut single, titled “Cooter!”
In 2012, Pandora and Sherry Vine produced a song called “Give Me All Your Muff,” which was a spoof of Madonna’s song “Give Me All Your Luvin’.” In addition, Pandora came out with many songs in the year 2012, including a cover version of the popular song “I Wanna Have Some Fun” by Samantha Fox as well as an original song titled “Nice Car! Sharon Needles was selected as the winner of the online voting to compete in RuPaul’s Drag Race: All-Stars in 2012; however, she later disclosed that she would not be taking part in the competition because she was already the champion of the fourth season. Needles also stated that Pandora will be making an appearance on the show and that she would be taking over for her. Pandora and her team mate, Mimi Imfurst, were the first two competitors to be eliminated from the All-Stars competition. Together, they competed as Team Mandora.
Following the conclusion of All-Stars 1, Boxx became a playable character in the “RuPaul’s Drag Race: Dragopolis” mobile app, alongside Manila Luzon and Yara Sofia.
In 2013, she started anchoring “Drag Center,” which is a recap show for RuPaul’s Drag Race that airs on Logo’s NewNowNext. She also collaborated with Adam Barta on a song titled “You Seemed Shady to Me,” which was released as a single and reached position number 50 on the iTunes comedy single rankings.
