Rachel Bay Jones is a famous singer and actress from the United States. She is best recognized for her performances as Catherine in the 2013 Broadway revival of Pippin and as Heidi Hansen, Evan Hansen’s mother, in the musical Dear Evan Hansen. Both roles brought her widespread acclaim. Rachel won the Tony Award in 2017 for Best Featured Actress in a Musical for her performance in the show’s final season.

She played the role of Diana in the production of Next to Normal at the Kennedy Center’s Broadway Center Stage series from January 29 through February 3, 2020.
