Tess is assigned many light-hearted stories, as well, and has a passion for sharing the stories of everyday Oklahomans.

The most surprising fact about Tess is she noodles almost every day in the summer. Noodling involves catching catfish using only your hands. Her biggest catch to date is a 52-pound flathead. Tess went noodling for the first time during a story for News On 6 in 2012. A few weeks later, she met her future husband on a noodling adventure. Hand-fishing has been her favorite hobby ever since and because of this, many viewers refer to her as “the noodling news reporter.”
